I like this version a lot. I have owned/purchased nearly a dozen of these, given away many and used the rest. I have only had one unit fail on me and thanks to a great warranty it was quickly replaced. I made this purchase because my dog ate my last pair(yes she really did). The fact that I don’t have to be concerned about ear buds falling out of or hurting my ears is a relief. The sound quality and performance is great and the microphone much better than those on any set of ear buds. I like to be hands free from my phone. The additional button to mute was much needed - I have another without . Thanks for a great product!
